Business & Economic Development Services
The agency works closely with the business community and can provide economic and market data, development coordination and financial program data. Building Permits and Services
Provides permits, inspections and other services for persons seeking to build or remodel structures in Clackamas County. For more information, please call 503-353-4400.

Development Agency
Assists area development by providing needed public improvements. The improvements are designed to insure orderly and attractive development in the area. Funding for the program is raised through tax increment financing. Extension Service

Land Use Planning and Zoning
(Develops comprehensive land use plans and ordinances for public review and County adoption.) Staff provides information and consults with the public on planning and zoning-related matters. Water Environment Services (Utilities)
Administers several County-wide programs. Service District No. 1 provides wastewater collection and treatment to the North Clackamas area, and the Tri-City Service District provides such services to the Oregon City/Gladstone/West Linn areas. Community Solutions for Clackamas County (CSCC)
Formerly known as Employment, Training & Business Services (ETBS), has been providing services to the Clackamas County community for over 30 years. Their mission is to create effective solutions in workforce development and business productivity; energy-efficiency savings for low-income homeowners and renters; workplace and community conflict resolution; and promotion of positive youth development. Offers businesses recruitment, screening and referrals from a statewide applicant bank. Small Business Development Center (SBDC)
The Small Business Development Center offers free business counseling to small business owners/managers.
