Benefits
In addition to competitive wages, Clackamas County offers an attractive benefits package for employees of regular status positions. Temporary employees are not eligible for benefits. Regular status employees working a position budgeted at 20 hours or more a week receive medical benefits. Dental, Life and Disability benefits are provided to regular status employees in a budgeted position of 30 hours of more per week. In addition there is generous vacation, sick and holiday pay and retirement contributions.
Benefits plans and eligibility may differ among the county employees represented by different collective bargaining agreements. - Medical/Prescriptive Drug and Vision Benefits – Option of three medical insurance plans which all cover employee’s spouse/domestic partner, and dependent children at a percentage premium cost. Vision, chiropractic, and naturopath physicians may be covered, depending on medical plan choice.
- Dental Plans – Option of three dental insurance plans. Includes orthodontia coverage for children and adults, depending on plan option.
