Benefits

In addition to competitive wages, Clackamas County offers an attractive benefits package for employees of regular status positions. Temporary employees are not eligible for benefits. Regular status employees working a position budgeted at 20 hours or more a week receive medical benefits. Dental, Life and Disability benefits are provided to regular status employees in a budgeted position of 30 hours of more per week. In addition there is generous vacation, sick and holiday pay and retirement contributions.

  • Medical/Prescriptive Drug and Vision Benefits – Option of three medical insurance plans which all cover employee’s spouse/domestic partner, and dependent children at a percentage premium cost. Vision, chiropractic, and naturopath physicians may be covered, depending on medical plan choice.
  • Dental Plans – Option of three dental insurance plans. Includes orthodontia coverage for children and adults, depending on plan option.
