4 Skills Club

Sometimes less is more; your dog needs some training, but you don't have time for a full 8 week session. Or maybe your dog really only needs some work on one or two things to be perfect. Our 4 Skills Club might be the answer. Each month we offer the following workshop schedule of topics:

First Monday - Fix Your Jump (learn how to stop your dog's jumping up)

Second Monday - Wait (the ultimate practical skill)

Third Monday - Who's Walking Whom? (We don't need to explain this one!)

Fourth Monday - Come Here! (the ultimate practical and safety skill)

Sign up for 4 weeks, 8 weeks, or drop-in! If you go with a 4 or 8 week option, you have complete control over which weeks you attend. Stick with just one topic, skip a month; whatever works!

Classes are from 7:00-8:00pm

$20 for drop-in class

$60 - 4 week block

$115 - 8 week block*

$160 - 12 week block*

*$25 discount for adopted shelter dogs.

Attend any classes you choose; consecutive weeks NOT required.

Your paid registration reserves your spot in class.

Adopt a shelter dog; make an Amazing Best Friend.

Are you looking for unconditional love?  Are you yearning for a cuddle partner?  Are you looking for that special someone that will stare deep into your eyes with complete acceptance?
Then we’ve got just what you’re after – and you
won’t have to shop for days and days to find it.

New licensing incentives in place

If your dog is microchipped and you provide the number, you get a discount on your dog’s license of $5 per year for the life of your dog.

If your dog is certified as a Canine Good Citizen, you get a 25% discount on your dog’s license per year for the life of your dog, you must provide proof of certification.

If your dog comes to the shelter and is currently vaccinated and licensed, and you reclaim it within two business days, the first impound fee of $45 will be wai ved (daily boarding fees would still apply $20 daily). Subsequent impound fees would apply if the dog arrives at the shelter again in the same year.

If your dog is currently licensed/vaccinated/microchipped and is picked up by a Dog Officer will return the dog home and secure it at home, if they can.

Being vaccinated and licensed and microchipped could be your pet’s “Free Ride Home” the first time they are at the shelter or found off of your property.
