Training Opportunities

Clackamas County Social Services offers a variety of training opportunities which are open to the public. These include:

  • Networking Information & Referral Meetings
    These monthly Networking Meetings feature panel presenters offering up-to-date information on a wide variety of community resources available to people in Clackamas County, provided by public and nonprofit organizations, with a special focus on services for people with low incomes, and special populations.
    The Networking Meetings are targeted to human service providers; however, they are open to the public, and are broadcast regularly over Government Cable television in Clackamas County.

    Meetings are held from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on the fourth Thursday of every month, with the exception November and December.  The November meeting the third Thursday; and there is no meeting in December, due to the holidays.

    Meetings are held at the Development Services Building (DSB), 150 Beavercreek Road, in Oregon City.

    Attendees are encouraged to bring business cards and information to share. Refreshments (beverages and pastries) are available at every meeting.
